Hot on the heels of the A6 launch last month that promised to shake up the premium mid-sized sedan landscape in Singapore, Audi on 26 November 2025 has officially unveiled the third-generation Audi Q5 at Geneo Singapore, marking one of the brand’s most significant SUV launches in recent years.

Long regarded as Audi’s most successful and important mid-sized SUV globally, the latest Q5 introduces an all-new platform, a sharper design, smarter technology with a same signature focus on practicality.
Third Time Is A Charm
The Q5 enters its third generation with a clear mission: elevate everything that made it a bestseller while adding modern features and a more dynamic character. It is the first SUV built on Audi’s Premium Platform Combustion (PPC), designed for highly efficient combustion engines and advanced digitalisation.
According to Gernot Döllner, CEO of AUDI AG, the new Q5 represents “the next important step in the rejuvenation of our portfolio” and continues the model’s 15-year success story.
In terms of exterior, the third generation Q5 is designed with sharper proportions and a sportier stance. The shoulder line is more pronounced, while the front fascia features a wider Singleframe grille, vertical air curtains and sculptural headlights for a confident, athletic look.
At the rear, the clean horizontal lines and updated OLED taillights create a modern, high-tech aesthetic, while the new Dynamic Interaction Light adds a premium visual flair when entering, exiting or signalling.
Customers can choose from eleven exterior colours and three visual packages including advanced, S line and S model styling. Wheels range from 19 inches to an eye-catching 21-inch tricolour option.

The new Q5 immediately feels roomier the moment you step inside. Headroom and legroom have improved over the last generation, and Audi has reworked the entire cabin around modern ergonomics.

The fully adjustable rear seats can slide or recline depending on passenger comfort or cargo needs. Fold them down and you expand the 520 litres of boot space to 1,473 litres, making the Q5 one of the most practical luxury SUVs in its class.
Quality of life is one major design goal of the Q5, with larger storage spaces under the centre armrest, numerous smaller trays and cubbies, and inductive cooled wireless charging. USB-C ports support up to 100W charging for laptops on the move.
Thrill seekers would be pleased to know that the base specification Q5 already comes with their turbocharged TFSI 150kW 2.0L 4 cylinder engine that makes 204 bhp and completes the century sprint in just 8.6 seconds.
Want Even More Performance?
If the TFSI 150kW 2.0L 4 cylinder engine isn’t enough for you, you will be pleased to know a 3.0 litre V6 TFSI variant is also available, in the form of the SQ5.
On top of putting out 367 bhp and 550 Nm of torque allowing for a century sprint of 4.5s, the SQ5 also comes standard with aggressive styling, larger 21-inch wheels, sport suspension and a Bang & Olufsen Premium Sound System, creating a package aimed at performance-minded drivers who still want everyday usability.

A Sleeker Silhouette
Customers who find a typical SUV roofline too “boxy” would also rejoice in the availability of the second-generation Q5 Sportback and SQ5 Sportback.

Despite the sleeker, coupe-like roofline, the Sportback still provides a generous boot space at 515 litres, expanding to 1,415 litres with the seats down, which is very close to the SUV variant.
