As online scams continue to affect thousands across Singapore, TikTok is stepping up its efforts once again. In collaboration with the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), the National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC), and the Singapore Police Force (SPF), the platform has launched the refreshed 2025 Scam Prevention Edition of its Digital Wellness Hub.

The initiative comes at a crucial time. While the first half of 2025 recorded a slight drop in overall scam cases, phishing, e-commerce, and job scams still resulted in an estimated S$97 million in losses, highlighting the continued need for education and vigilance.

With just a tap, users can visit the Digital Wellness Hub to dive deeper, exploring real-life examples, learning common red flags, and picking up practical steps to take when things look suspicious.

“Spot the Real Deal” – A New Scam Awareness Game Show
To address evolving scam tactics including job, investment, impersonation, phishing, and e-commerce scams, TikTok and MHA will launch an exclusive in-app game show this December. Designed to test participants’ ability to distinguish real scenarios from scams, the show underscores the importance of critical thinking when confronted with potential fraud.
Building a Safer Digital Community
With its massive reach among Singapore’s digital natives, TikTok continues to work closely with local authorities to strengthen scam prevention efforts. This joint initiative aims to empower users with the knowledge and confidence to spot, avoid, and report scams more effectively.
Users can explore the Scam Prevention Edition of TikTok’s Digital Wellness Hub by searching scam-related keywords within the app. More safety resources can also be found on the TikTok Safety Center.
