Accessible fun takes off as AIRZONE partners Cérge Tech in Singapore debut

AIRZONE at City Square Mall has become the first attraction in Singapore to be onboarded onto the Cérge Tech digital accessibility platform as part of an effort to improve inclusive recreation across the city.

The collaboration also marks the Australian company’s debut in Southeast Asia. Located in City Square Mall, AIRZONE first opened in 2018 as the world’s first indoor suspended playground, featuring four levels of bouncy nets from levels 2 to 6.

The attraction is now introducing a refreshed play experience that includes multi-level laser tag and silent disco activities.

The first level at level 2 consists of a ballpit as well as a mini play area with inflatable toys.

The second has the laser tag as well as more inflatable toys to play around with.

The final third area has a mini maze you can play around in with friends.

Cérge Tech co-founder Chris Kerrisk said the partnership demonstrates how technology can transform public spaces and expressed hope that more attractions in Singapore will adopt similar solutions. The collaboration also aligns with City Square Mall’s efforts to foster inclusive community experiences and maintain a family friendly environment.

AIRZONE has hosted visitors with disabilities since its early years, prompting the company to refine its offerings. The new technology supported activities are designed to ensure participation for visitors who may not be able to step onto the nets themselves. Both laser tag and silent disco can be enjoyed from the sidelines, allowing guests with mobility equipment to take part alongside their family and friends. The new experiences are also suitable for older adults, supporting AIRZONE’s intention to be inclusive for different ages and physical abilities.

AIRZONE continues to observe safety measures and operational limits. The suspended playground can accommodate up to 59 people at once, with roughly 20 per level. Participants have a maximum allowable weight of 120 kilograms and visitors are advised not to wear skirts or dresses to ensure comfort during activities, and are allowed to store their valuables in a locker before heading on their airborne adventure. A hook you can attach to your phone cover to ensure it does not drop is also given to you.

Tickets and Pricing

A single 60 minute session starts from S$27.90 and group packages are available.

Guests may also purchase AIRZONE Flexi Promise coverage at S$1.50 to reschedule in case of unforeseen circumstances. The safeguard applies to standard tickets and multi session passes.

Full accessibility and sensory information is available via Cérge Tech online.
