This August, the Singapore Night Festival (SNF) 2025 returns with Island Nights — a spectacular edition that casts a luminous spotlight on Singapore’s identity as an island nation shaped by stories of connection, exchange, and belonging. From 22 August to 6 September, the Bras Basah.Bugis (BBB) precinct will come alive with immersive installations, dazzling light art, roving performances, and dynamic festival villages — all in celebration of the country’s 60th year of independence.
Organised for the first time by HeritageSG, a subsidiary of the National Heritage Board, this 16th edition of SNF invites festival-goers to reflect on the ties that bind — from historic trade routes to vibrant cultural intersections — through reimagined public spaces, interactive art, and evocative performances.
Expect three weekends of nocturnal wonder across the BBB precinct, with festival favourites like projection mapping shows, Night Lights installations, live performances, and buzzing food & retail villages returning in full force.
Step into a sea of rainbow-lit inflatable arches with Sky Castle by Australian studio ENESS — a joyful, interactive experience that responds to your movement with waves of colour and sound.
Escape the bustle at Kampong Chill, a serene, pavilion-style retreat created by artist duo Yok & Sheryo, offering hands-on workshops and a taste of kampong life.
Discover six radiant Night Lights installations at hotspots like Armenian Street, Bugis+, Funan, and Raffles City, where art transforms the everyday into the extraordinary.

These initiatives underscore SNF’s growing role as a platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and cultural innovation.
Kicking off from 1 August, SNF’s BBB National Day Activations will reimagine historic monuments and hidden corners into experiential zones themed Celebrating Our Island. This year spotlights Sungei Beras Bassa, once vital to the precinct’s nutmeg plantations, and welcomes new creative collaborations with LASALLE College of the Arts and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts.
Admission to Singapore Night Festival 2025 is free, with select ticketed programmes available here. The festival is proudly presented with the support of official partners Bugis Town, Capitol, CHIJMES, Funan, and more.
