In celebration of Singapore’s 60th birthday, heritage bakery brand Old Seng Choong has launched a limited-edition Pandan Coffee Chiffon Cake, bringing together two iconic local flavours in a single nostalgic treat.
The new release commemorates six decades of national progress while honouring the brand’s roots. Established by renowned local pastry chef Daniel Tay, Old Seng Choong is a tribute to Tay’s father and the original Seng Choong Confectionery that served generations of Marine Parade residents in the 1960s.
The Pandan Coffee Chiffon Cake combines the bold aroma of traditional 1980s-style kopi with the fragrant sweetness of pandan, resulting in a light, springy chiffon cake designed to appeal to all ages.
In addition to the chiffon cake, Old Seng Choong is offering a special SG60 Bundle that includes two other nostalgic favourites: Coffee Cookies and Pandan Coconut Cookies. Beautifully packaged in a commemorative gift box.
Both items are available at all Old Seng Choong retail outlets and on the brand’s official e-commerce store.
