As spring graces the Himalayas, TWG Tea introduces the 2025 Darjeeling Nouveau, a limited-edition first flush black tea that encapsulates the essence of the season, harvested from the high-altitude estates of Darjeeling.
Darjeeling, nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas, offers a unique terroir characterised by cool temperatures, elevations reaching up to 2,500 metres, and distinctive soil and rainfall patterns. These conditions yield teas renowned for their delicate flavours and aromatic profiles.
The 2025 Darjeeling Nouveau is presented in a limited-edition tin adorned with vibrant orange and gold hues. Renowned as the King of Black Teas, this exception tea from TWG’s Grand Mode Tea Collection is rich in aroma and complex in flavours, with notes of ripe fruit and nuts.
To fully appreciate the nuances of the Darjeeling Nouveau, TWG Tea recommends steeping the leaves in water heated to 85–90°C for 2–3 minutes. This method accentuates the tea’s briskness, strength, and aroma, allowing connoisseurs to savor its delicate balance of flavours.
Tried it, love it:
The 2025 Darjeeling Nouveau priced at S$58 for 100g and is available for a limited time at TWG Tea Salons & Boutiques across Singapore and online at TWGTea.com.
