The Cathay is making a grand return with a refreshed retail experience and a spectacular 360-degree multimedia tower as the centrepiece of its revamped atrium. Marking the start of a new chapter, the iconic development is welcoming visitors for a soft opening just in time for the long weekend, with approximately 30% of its tenants ready to open.
Spanning three floors and measuring 14.4 meters wide, the high-resolution digital display offers ultra-clear visuals and seamless motion graphics, transforming the atrium into an immersive hub for storytelling and branded experiences. Visitors can take in the striking visuals from the grand steps of the reimagined space, setting the stage for a dynamic fusion of entertainment, art, and retail.
A Curated Tenant Mix for an Elevated Experience
While most tenants are still preparing for their grand openings, The Cathay is expected to be fully operational by Q3 2025. The revitalized tenant mix caters to a diverse audience, featuring brands in food and beverage, wellness, fashion, beauty, and education. Notable additions include PSB Academy, serving as the anchor tenant with its graduate and post-graduate programs, and IUIGA, which will debut its largest flagship store at 7,000 square feet, offering premium yet affordable home essentials.
Dining options are set to impress with Food Avenue, a vibrant food court celebrating Singapore’s rich culinary heritage. Visitors can also look forward to beloved names such as Ya Kun, Yakiniku Like!, Tsui Wah, Fore Coffee, Kebuke, and returning favorites Starbucks and Saizeriya.
