RSP’s remarkable year culminated in being named Large Firm of the Year in Multi-Disciplinary Architecture at the Architecture Master Prize. Gaia: A Sustainability Icon
Gaia, Asia’s largest Mass Engineered Timber (MET) building located at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), clinched the Grand Prize for Campuses at Prix Versailles 2024. Designed in collaboration with Toyo Ito & Associates, the six-story structure, covering 43,500m², is a benchmark in sustainable design. Gaia’s timber construction reduces carbon emissions by 2,500 tonnes annually, equivalent to over 7,000 roundtrip flights between Singapore and Hong Kong.

The expansion of Changi Airport Terminal 2, a collaboration with Paris-based BOIFFILS Architectures, transformed 120,000m² across three levels into a tranquil, multi-sensory environment. Featuring lush greenery, water elements, and natural materials, the design seamlessly blends architecture with landscape.

Designed in collaboration with Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) and Carlo Ratti Associati, CapitaSpring is a 280-meter-high marvel that integrates sky gardens, offices, restaurants, and serviced apartments into Singapore’s Central Business District. Its innovative approach earned the International High-Rise Award 2024/2025, exemplifying RSP’s ability to redefine urban landscapes.
Innovating with AI
RSP also embraced the future of design by leveraging AI in the Arch Hive Design Build Competition, securing three awards with visionary designs generated through cutting-edge technology.
