Tinder Introduces “Share My Date” Feature to Enhance Dating Experience

Planning a date is about to get a whole lot easier, thanks to Tinder’s latest innovation: Share My Date. The world-renowned dating app is set to launch this new feature, allowing users to seamlessly share their upcoming date plans with friends and loved ones directly from the app.

Whether it’s a casual coffee meetup or a night at the movies, sharing the anticipation and details of a date with close friends adds an extra layer of excitement. According to recent in-app polling data, over half of singles under 30 (51%) already share their date plans with friends, and surprisingly, one in five Tinder users (18%) even loop in their moms.

Share My Date caters to everyone, from friends to family and peers. With just one simple link, users can share essential date information, including location, date, time, and even a photo of their match, directly from the Tinder app. This feature allows users to choose who they want to share their plans with and enables them to create and edit an unlimited number of dates up to 30 days in advance.

Flexibility is key, especially when plans change last minute. Thanks to Share My Date, users can easily update their date details within the app to keep their circle informed and in sync.

Rolling out across several countries, including the US, UK, Australia, Canada, Singapore, India, and many more, Share My Date aims to revolutionize the dating experience by fostering transparency and connection among users and their social circles.

In addition to the exciting launch of Share My Date, Paul Brunson, Tinder’s Global Relationships Insight Expert, shares some valuable tips for getting ready for that all-important in-real-life (IRL) moment:

Explore New Experiences

Think outside the box when planning dates. Find activities that resonate with both you and your match, whether it’s a shared interest or a leisurely stroll in the park.

Share Your Date Plans

Don’t keep your date plans to yourself. Share them with friends and loved ones. With Tinder’s Share My Date feature, it’s easier than ever to keep your circle informed directly from the app.

Be Authentic

Stay true to yourself. Authenticity is highly valued in today’s dating scene, so embrace your true self.

Stay Present

Put your phone away during the date and give your full attention to your companion. Being present is key to building a meaningful connection.

Be Kind and Trust Your Instincts

Treat your date with respect, and if things aren’t working out, it’s okay to end the date gracefully. Trust your instincts and prioritize your comfort and well-being.

With Share My Date and expert advice from Paul Brunson, Tinder is empowering users to navigate the dating world with confidence and authenticity.
