Just in time for the Ramadan period, Domino’s Pizza Singapore is bringing us two new pizza flavours, inspired by one of Singapore’s favourite hawker dish: Sate Chicken and Sate Beef. Inspired by the aromatic herbs and spices of the Singapore-style satay, the Sate Pizza is also available in a Cheese Volcano format:

We are always skeptical of new-fangled food that are interpretations or adaptations of traditional dishes, so we approached the Domino’s Sate Pizza with a lot of skepticism. It was hard to imagine how the flavours from grilled meat skewers can be translated into a flatbread format. Surprisingly, the Sate Pizza delivered on the satay flavours and can pack a punch.

Domino’s Sate Pizza is hand-tossed, boasting a crisp, airy crust as with all other Domino’s pizzas. The succulent chicken or beef chunks are the highlight here, with its smoky flavour complemented by a sweet and mildly spicy satay sauce base. The pizza tastes rich and nutty from roasted peanuts, offering a satisfying combination of sweet and savory in every bite, just like what you would expect when you bite into a stick of satay drizzled with satay sauce.

Freshly cut red onions, Japanese cucumbers, and red pickled chili on top of mozzarella cheese, complete the pizza experience, delivering something different from the hawker dish alone.

For those who are feeling adventurous and can’t get enough of the limited-time-only Sate Pizza, enjoy it in the Cheese Volcano format.

Featuring a hot liquid cheese dip in the center, Domino’s Cheese Volcano elevates your Sate Pizza experience with the cheesy goodness from a special cheese sauce and cheddar cheese. The Cheese Volcano Sate Pizza is available in two flavours – beef and chicken, joining the existing flavours of Cheese Volcano Hawaiian Paradise and Cheese Volcano Beef Pepperoni.
