From February 17th to March 3rd, 2024, participants will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of special access programs, including guided tours, theatrical experiences, talks, film screenings, and exhibitions. Off the Beaten Track Exploration
One of the highlights of this year’s Battle for Singapore is the Cycling Buona Vista tours, led by esteemed historian Dr. John Kwok and heritage researcher Mr. Lee Kok Leong. Cyclists will trace the final battles for Singapore along the Buona Vista defense line, gaining insights into the strategies employed by both Japanese invaders and Allied defenders.
Uncovering Untold Stories
Delve deeper into Singapore’s wartime narrative with tours to Cashin House at Lim Chu Kang Nature Park. Perched on a pier overlooking the Johor Strait, this site witnessed some of the earliest Japanese landings during the invasion.
