This four-part festival, a fusion of blended exhibitions, interactive games, and captivating online challenges, will grace your calendar from October 11th to December 8th, 2023.
As a returning favorite, UNTAME takes you on an annual immersive adventure where science meets entertainment. This year’s twist? A mouthwatering fusion of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) with a tantalizing theme that combines the world of food and science. From the art of food production to cutting-edge technological innovations, UNTAME promises to revolutionize your perspective on food sustainability and the essential role of STEM.
Festival Highlights
The UNTAME festival boasts exciting highlights for visitors of all ages and backgrounds. Whether you’re into immersive mazes, hands-on workshops, or online gaming, there’s something for everyone. Here’s a sneak peek of what to expect:
UNTAME Onsite in November: Step into a mind-bending maze set in the year 2123. Solve puzzles, embark on thrilling quests, and unlock hidden clues at The M.A.R.T, a fictional alternative supermarket. Photo-worthy installations, out-of-the-ordinary food and drinks, and a radioactive garden await. Plus, UNTAME Xtreme ticket holders can venture into a sinister escape room and enjoy a refreshing Tiger Soju Infused Lager.
STEAM Festival starting on October 31: Partner booths will host hands-on parent-child bonding workshops, such as creating personalized laser-engraved cookies and exploring future food sources.
UNTAME Online from October 16 to December 8: Join the free-to-play web-browser platform #UNTAMEflavours. You’ll become a STEMling character on a quest to combat food wastage in your world. Participate in mini-games, video quizzes, and real-world activities for a chance to win exciting prizes.
UNTAME Schools 2023: Calling all educators! UNTAME Schools will take students on an engaging journey through the history and future of food. Students can participate in STEM Challenges, explore the centre’s UNTAME gallery trail, and attend the STAR Lecture event to envision the future of food.
UNTAME STEAM Festival 2023

Description: Organized by KidsSTOP, this festival aims to spark an interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) among preschoolers. It offers fun and engaging workshops and events, including talks, hands-on activities, and booths. You’ll explore STEAM concepts related to food, engage in educational parent-child bonding activities, and support a food drive in partnership with Food Bank Singapore.
UNTAME Online
- Dates: October 16 – December 8, 2023
Description: Join the free-to-play online platform #UNTAMEflavours. Players will tackle missions and play mini-games to combat food wastage in their world. Explore various aspects of food sustainability and take part in the #HuntTheMouse Silver Burger Quest.
UNTAME Schools 2023
Description: This program, designed for students, offers a captivating exploration of the history and future of food, touching on technology advancements and the ever-evolving dietary landscape. It includes STEM Challenges, STAR Lecture – The Future of Food, and the STEM Playground Grand Finale.
