The much-anticipated POP TOY SHOW (PTS) Singapore 2023 is now open from 8 to 10 September at Sands Expo & Convention Centre.
Offering a vibrant fusion of global collectible art toys from POP MART and homegrown retailer, ActionCity, this event marks a significant milestone for POP MART, being their inaugural showcase outside of China. Collectors and enthusiasts alike are in for a treat as they delve into the imaginative world of designer toys, alongside acclaimed artists and designers from across the region.
Justin Moon, President of POP MART International, warmly welcomed dedicated fans who queued since 9am at the venue opening yesterday. He expressed, โUnder the theme ‘Back to Play in the Garden City,’ this event opens the doors for fans to meet the imaginative minds behind their iconic favourites, immersing themselves in the captivating world of trendy toys. Accompanying Justin on the opening day were renowned POP MART artists Kenny Wong, Ayan Deng, and Lang, alongside international talents Jon-Paul Kaiser, Simone Legno, and Punk Drunkers. Local artists such as Daniel Yu, Lesdoublewood, Jeremy Tanavit, and Yang also graced the event.
Yang, a cancer survivor who channels her energy into art, expressed her excitement about being part of the inaugural Singapore edition of PTS. She collaborated with artists from Thailand, the Philippines, and Singapore for a custom show, featuring her original character, Ooja.
The event promises a rich line-up of artists, sharing their creative journeys and inspirations. The Women Artists in Art Toys panel discussion will spotlight the exceptional artistry of women in the industry, featuring panelists Erika Tay, Klaris, Sarah Isabel Tan, Steffi, and Yang.
Attendees will have the privilege of witnessing the exclusive unveiling of ๐ ๐๐๐ ฮฑ ๐ฆ๐๐จ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ก๐๐ ๐ญ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฌ% ๐๐๐ข๐ง on the second day at 2.15pm, with three lucky VIP ticket holders gaining the opportunity to pre-order this masterpiece.
Live art demonstrations will be a highlight, featuring Jon-Paul Kaiser, Simone Legno, and Hariken on Day 1, 2, and 3 respectively.

HeyCiao, a popular toy brand from China, will introduce new characters like Cimmy, Diu Diu, and The SLLO to the Singapore audience. Hong Kong’s One Little Planet will offer limited-edition figures and live art demonstrations featuring Poh, Bobray, and Don Don.
