As an entrepreneur and the founder of 3 companies, Sam Neo’s mission has always been to empower the Asian community through storytelling.
As the founder of Stories of Asia and a thought leader in the Human Resources community, Sam was able to give back to the community through holding events and outreach programs, as well as shining a light on those that needed it the most in their community.
It has been 3 years since Stories of Asia was founded, and Sam had begun to look for more effective ways to raise funds for these programs.
He had been using whatever he gained from his companies as the capital for these events, and he decided to try using NFTs as a way to raise funds to help the Asian communities. Sam also made the decision that he would use half of these funds from the NFTs and use them for his efforts to better the Asian community as a whole.
Starting a collection
Despite being new to the realm of NFTs, Sam then decided to jump in and start his own NFT collection, centred around ‘Kob-i’, the AI writing bot and Chief Content Officer of StoryBuddy.
Kob-i, a cute AI companion bot who helps you get inspired and write, would be the main star of the collection, and after months of hard work, the Kob-i in Asia collection was finalised.
Starting with the first series containing iconic symbols of Singaporean culture, the collection is made up of 1000 different renditions of Kob-i, each unique in its own way.
Owning the Kob-i in Asia collection will make you a catalyst for change in the Asian communities, and will have exclusive access to the Stories of Asia and StoryBuddy events and communities, and will also receive early access to the latest networking events in collaboration with MNC giants and mentoring opportunities.
In addition, you can enjoy up to 50% off paid events with Stories of Asia and StoryBuddy. Also, if you purchase the Sakae X StoryBuddy NFTs, you can enjoy a discount at Sakae Sushi.
Where to Buy
After its whitelist sale during which all of the pieces from the first batch were sold out, the collection will be available to the general public by 30 June. You can by the NFTs from major NFT marketplace OpenSea, as well as the original Kob-i in Asia page.
