Home-grown snack brand, Crusty’s recently launched a brand new flavour snack – the first-ever Sambal BBQ Seafood potato chips.
First conceived in 2016 with Salted Egg Fish Skin as its first snack, the brand has since expanded its range of snacks to include Soy Skin, Potato Chips and Crabsticks, with interesting flavours such as Singapore Chicken Rice, Tom Yum, Mala and more. The Singapore BBQ Seafood potato chips is the latest addition to their Hawker Culture series, adding on to the Singpaore Chicken Rice potato chips.
The team at Crusty’s came up with this new creation from the concept of Singapore’s unique Hawker Centres as avenues for community dining where people come together to dine and interact. In the same way, Crusty’s hopes to bring people together with their snacks.
The packaging is beautifully designed, with the use of iconic hawker imagery and bright colours that are bound to captivate attention.
There are currently two flavours in their Hawker Culture street food edition – Singapore BBQ Seafood and Singapore Chicken Rice. They retail at .90 for each 60g pack, with free delivery for orders over .
We tried both flavours and found them to closely resemble the familiar BBQ Seafood and Chicken Rice flavours from our local hawker centres.
