As with many other F&B establishments adjusting to the new Covid normal, the restaurant now offers self-collection or delivery to your door step with takeaway food and booze from its online store.

The concept of Winestone revolves around the key words: simple, attractive, authentic and affordable. Expect quality wines at affordable prices, from $23 nett for a bottle. The restaurant is now offering a “home-base learning package” which consists of 6 bottles of wine (1 sparkling, 1 rosé, 2 reds and 2 whites) at S$154 nett for those who need a drink or two to unwind at home.

Winestone also offers takeaway food of their signature dishes from their Mixed Platter consisting of cold cuts, cheeses and olive to mains such as Rigatoni Prawn Pasta, Winestone Pizza, 150-days Grain-fed MS1 Beef Tenderloin and more.

We sampled their Rigatoni Prawn Pasta (S$28) and Winestone Pizza (S$28) for delivery and were pleased that the food arrived in reasonably good shape and texture, without turning cold or soggy.

For the month of June, Mercure Singapore on Stevens is collaborating with Kin Yan Agrotech, situated in Lim Chu Kang Agrotechnology Park, to present a series of mushroom dishes using locally grown and supplied mushrooms from the local farm.

The mushroom dishes include a Warm Mushroom Salad (S$18), a “Black Gold” (S$24) dish featuring black fungus, golden oyster mushrom and baked Chilean seabass, as well as an interesting Mushroom Vodka drink (S$24 a bottle or S$132 for 6 bottles). You can see actual pieces of mushroom in the drink and it tastes a little zesty with an alcoholic kick.
