We were supposed to dine by the waterside, but alas, it rained and so we dined indoors instead. Not complaining though, as the interior of the restaurant is very elegant, with warm ambient lighting creating a cosy and romantic ambiance.

The satay sauce is a winning blend of sweet and savory, with milled peanut bits to add texture. I would steal Gardenia’s slogan to describe it: “So good… you can even eat it on its own!”

CHOCOLATE BAKED ALASKA (For 2 persons)

Ice cream, cake and meringue enveloped in burning flames. This was a dessert that won approval from both my eyes and taste-buds. The taste of rum is strong in this one. A favorite of our table.

CHEF’S FRESHLY MADE SIGNATURE TIRAMISU (For 2 persons)

Terrarium or Tiramisu? How about a Tiramisu Terrarium. Gotta love the creativity behind this one, and also how each spoonful was a mouthful of moist goodness. For people who fear excessive sweetness, this one is just right!
