HUAWEI Y6p houses a massive 5000mAh battery and will be available on 16 May for only S$218

Huawei announces the launch of HUAWEI Y6p, a smartphone that combines powerful hardware performance and stylish design at a truly affordable price.

The latest addition to the HUAWEI Y Series is available in two distinct colourways – Phantom Purple, and Midnight Black. Learn more of the specs here:

Massive Battery with Reverse Charging

Embedded in the HUAWEI Y6p is a large 5000mAh battery that works in harmony with Huawei’s proprietary Power Saving mode to support even the most demanding power users with an extraordinary battery life. On a single charge, the HUAWEI Y6p can provide up to 32 hours of video playback.

The HUAWEI Y6p also supports one-way reverse charging, transforming the smartphone into a high-capacity power bank to charge other devices, even when it is used as an external storage for another smartphone.

Triple Camera

The HUAWEI Y6p is equipped with a triple rear camera lens which includes a 13MP main camera fitted with an f/1.8 aperture. The main camera offers improved low-light photography capabilities and helps users capture high resolution photos with less noise.

The second lens is a 5MP Wide Angle Camera that offers a 120-degree field of view, so users can capture more content in a single shot.

The last lens is a 2MP Depth Camera that provides 17 levels of aperture adjustments for various natural-looking blurry background effects. On the front, the HUAWEI Y6p has an 8MP camera embedded in the dewdrop area on the display. Immersive viewing experience

Browsing the internet and watching videos are made more immersive with the 6.3-inch HUAWEI Dewdrop Display. Bezels are also made slimmer to deliver the maximum display area with an 88.4 per cent screen-to-body ratio.

HUAWEI Y6p supports HUAWEI SuperSound to boost maximum volume output to 88dB, and HUAWEI Histen 6.0 to offer a 9.1-channel surround sound experience. A 3.5mm headphone jack is also available on the HUAWEI Y6p, supporting a wide range of headphones.

Better Productivity

Inside the HUAWEI Y6p is a powerful octa-core processor providing all-round performance across productivity and entertainment use cases. It offers 4GB RAM to support multi-tasking demands, and includes 64GB of internal storage for media and apps. Also available is an optional extension slot that supports up to 512GB of additional storage via microSD (sold separately).

HUAWEI Y6p is pre-installed with AppGallery, Huawei’s official app distribution platform; where users can download an ever-growing selection of global and local apps, and enjoy a library of quality entertainment media on HUAWEI Video and HUAWEI Music.
