Is the recent Covid-19 coronavirus outbreak disrupting your upcoming travel plans? Instead of flying out of Singapore for a break, why not consider a staycation?

The hotel industry as a whole has taken a hit and there are some lucrative discounts and promotions to tap on. At the same time, it helps to give our local tourism economy a little booster in this trying period. So why not do our part and go local.

We highly recommend the signature Ginett Burger for brunch for the ultimate comfort food to round up a cosy staycation at Hotel G.

Also included are complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi & unlimited downloads of newspapers and magazines from all around the globe with the Press Reader app.

My son and I were over at Hotel G last weekend and we enjoyed a great father-son bonding staycation together. During our stay, we had our “Dragonball Night” whereby we watched the iconic Dragonball anime together while enjoying the hotel’s complimentary popcorn plus drinks and snacks which we brought on our own.

We also visited the gym together and Asher had a go at the leather punching bag, followed by 30 minutes on the treadmill for both of us. The next day morning, we had an awesome brunch at Ginett, followed by a visit to the National Library which is within walking distance.

The gym at Hotel G:

The stay was fantastic, given the very convenient location in the heart of the city and the contemporary room decor with its quirky designs.

Who says you can’t get creative with just water
Love this CSI-style cork-board which makes for a great Instagram backdrop
Fun coffee mugs with captions that are so true
Ice cube machine and water refill on every floor

With regards to health and safety measures in view of Singapore’s DORSCON Orange status, Hotel G has temperature checks and contact tracing measures in place. There are also hand sanitisers placed at strategic locations like the lift lobby and cleaning as well as washing has been stepped up.
