The Westin Singapore recently introduced a “Singapore Fling” staycation package with room rates from SGD 296++ per night, valid only on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through December 29, 2019.
Located in the Marina Bay Financial Centre area, The Westin Singapore is one of those business hotels where room rates are higher on weekdays than weekends and it make sense for them to offer an attractively priced weekend staycation package to beef up the occupancy.
The staycation package is available for two-night (SGD 588++) and three-night stay (SGD 888++) and includes daily breakfast for two at Seasonal Tastes as well as two Singapore Sling cocktail or mocktail at the Lobby Lounge. Guests who take up the three-night stay package also get access to Westin Club Lounge for up to two adults.
Asher and I checked in for the weekend and our Deluxe room looks like this:
The Marina Bay Financial Centre area and the nearby Raffles Place CBD area are ghost towns over the weekends and most restaurants and shops are closed. This makes it perfect for a quiet staycation though. You will be able to take amazing shots of the empty CBD for your Instagram feed or stroll along the Marina Bay area to busy Marina Bay Sands which is bustling with activities.
For cheap eats, Lau Pa Sat food centre is just a 5-minutes walk from the hotel.
Otherwise, just stay in the hotel and chill. There are lots of stuff available within the hotel to keep you occupied.
Breakfast at Seasonal Tastes
The breakfast buffet spread is quite wide and include a live cooking noodle station, an eggs station, fresh fruits and juices, salad bar and a delectable selection of international fares.
Singapore Slings at the Lobby Lounge
What better way to enjoy a “Singapore Fling” staycation than to sit back and knock back a glass of Singapore Sling cocktail or mocktail with your companion. The drinks come complimentary with the staycation package.
Workout – Infinity Pool, Fitness Studio and a Running Program
There is an outdoor infinity pool which offers a great view of the CBD and also a well equipped WestinWORKOUT fitness studio, both located on the 35th floor.
On Saturdays, guests can join the hotel’s runWESTIN Concierge for a scenic run along the Marina Bay area without having to worry about packing your fitness gear for the weekend. The Westin Gear Lending program offers New Balance shoes and clothing for guest’s use during their stay, at a nominal charge of
SGD 6. Shoes come with socks that are brand new and for the guest to keep, and the clothing is provided fresh and clean.
