Best year-end vacations in Singapore according to agoda

With the year-end quickly approaching, many Singaporeans are eagerly counting down the days for the much-anticipated getaways they’ve had planned for months. But for less-organized folk (and that’s most of us), it’s a last minute dash to book accommodation.

Whilst last-minute foreign travel can be complicated to book towards the end of the year, it’s a great opportunity to explore your own city. agoda’s recent Travel and Tech Study found that despite the island only being 42km wide, half of Singaporeans said they would like to explore their own country.

agoda’s Global Director for Brand and Communication, Andrew Edwards, comments: “A vacation in your own city is a great opportunity to discover what foreign tourists love about where you live – but without the jet-lag, language difficulties and general disorientation.”

From the awe-inspiring Gardens by the Bay, breakfast at the zoo, and the many museums and shopping destinations – despite its small size, Singapore has it all.

agoda booking data shows that for the past four years, Singapore has remained the most popular destination for locals traveling during December and January. So here are some of Singapore’s most inspiring vacation properties to help re-discover your own backyard.
