After five weeks of intense battle between Grab riders from The First Order and The Resistance in Singapore, the winner of the Rancho Obi-Wan grand prize was crowned at the final showdown at Plaza Singapura last Sunday. 29-year-old Lynnda Koh from The First Order beat nine other competitors to emerge champion, completing a series of STAR WARS-themed escape room challenges in the fastest time – 9 minutes 31 seconds 72 milliseconds!
As a regular Grab user, riding with Grab has been Lynnda’s most comfortable way of travelling around Singapore. During the campaign period, she used the zero-value ‘THELASTJEDI’ promo code for every ride booking with Grab. Never did she think this would grant her the trip of a lifetime.
However, it’s not all without hard work and preparation! After being informed by Grab that she has been selected to battle it out at the final showdown with other top riders, Lynnda – not your typical STAR WARS fan – spent her weekend on a STAR WARS movie marathon, acquainting herself with the films and crunching in as much knowledge as she could.
