School’s out and if you are looking for meaningful activities to occupy your kids with during the school holidays, check out the School Holiday Series conducted by the People’s Association (PA). Courses start from as low as just $40 per parent-child pair and span a wide variety of subjects from making handicrafts to cooking to science projects. Check out the official website for more information.
The courses are specially curated to cater especially to children, aged 4 years and above during the June and December school holiday. They are conducted across the various Community Centres across Singapore and typically run from two to three hours in duration.
A few obvious advantages of taking up courses with PA is that they are very reasonably priced to cater to the masses; conveniently located in the neighbourhood; and there is quality assurance.
Over the weekend, Asher and I attended a snow globe making class at Teck Ghee Community Centre whereby we learned to make our own snow globe using materials that are easily available from handicraft and thrift stores like Daiso and NTUC supermarkets:
Looks fun isn’t it?
If you would like to engage with your child in some meaningful parent-child bonding activities, do check out the courses offered by the PA’s School Holiday Series and sign up for a course or two.
