Ikea Singapore will bring back its chicken wings, a favourite among shoppers, on 3 July (Monday), according to an announcement on its website.
The new chicken wings are based on a “new original recipe” and will be “more tender” and “more juicy”.
From 3 to 7 July, the wings will cost $1 each. The promotion is only available for dine-in customers at its outlets in Tampines and Alexandra. Each person is only limited to two plates of six wings each.
The halal version will soon be available at Ikea Tampines.
The Swedish furniture company had temporarily stopped selling chicken wings from 23 May after receiving complaints from customers.
In a Facebook post on 19 May, Ikea said it will improve on the wings before bringing them back.
“Thank you for all your feedback. We are aware that our chicken wings have not been meeting our customers’ satisfaction recently, so we have decided to stop selling them temporarily from 23 May so we can improve on them,” the post said.
