Expect a bold and refreshing flavour in a wide range of treats usually served in afternoon tea – but with a twist.

Embark on epicurean afternoon tea as Axis Bar and Lounge presents a bold and inviting durian themed menu with a local twist.

Foodies who have a soft spot for sweet treats won’t be able to resist the divine Durian Macaron, D24 Durian Mousse and Gula Melaka Durian Opera. These are just a prelude to what’s to come in the exquisite three-tiered stand replete with gourmet fleshy durian desserts.

If you’re craving for durian yet with a more savoury flavour profile, the Durian Custard Sable Tart with Taro Foam will do the trick.

As you take delight in these gastronomic treats, immerse yourself in a laid-back lounge with Grand Jasmine TWG Tea. This brew of soothing green tea and jasmine blossoms will complete your epicurean experience at Axis Bar and Lounge.

The usual afternoon delights are still available

If you’d like to start your afternoon tea on a lighter note, it may be ideal to start with the refreshing Wolfberry Infused Jasmine Tea Jelly with Honey Emulsion.

As you tuck into savouries like the Roulade of Chicken, Spiced Ginger and Chili Caviar, you’d be able to taste the molecular finesse in such a bite-sized indulgence reminiscent of Singapore’s well-loved chicken rice. Better yet, the caviar is handcrafted with everyone’s favourite – chilli oil.
