What’s great is that you can see head chef Samia Ahad and her colleagues preparing your meal in the action-packed kitchen.

So whether you’re picking up a salad of smoky mini-octopus or heading straight to the wonderfully juicy Ahad’s spicy frontier chicken, it shows how the modern Singaporean food scene is constantly evolving.

But if you’re looking to get the ultimate in traditional Singaporean treats like Char Kway Teow, then the wonderful Grandma’s in Raffle’s City can deliver you straight to food heaven. And whilst Malaysian imports like Nasi Lemak may be traditional favourites, when you can get them delivered to your door by a company like Deliveroo, it shows just how fast things are changing in how we can enjoy some pan-Asian classics.
