In conjunction with Singapore’s SG50 fiftieth birthday celebration this year, the Jurong Bird Park has come up with a slew of fun promotional activities and discounts for the whole family to have generations of fun.
If you looking for somewhere to bring the whole family during the June holidays, consider visiting the park!
While my wife Rachel is overseas, I brought my parents and my son, Asher, to the Jurong Bird Park last weekend for intergenerational bonding. Asher was happy to have his grandparents along for the trip and thoroughly enjoyed himself despite the drizzly weather.
We managed to catch a show at the park, feed lories at the lories loft, visited various attractions, ride on the tram and even participate in some of the special weekend old school games!
What are in store at the park for SG50?
Let’s find out:
Lao Jiao is an old Hokkien slang term that literally means ‘old bird’. All Singaporean pioneer generation gets to visit the Jurong Bird Park – absolutely FREE!
All Singaporeans and PRs aged 60 and above in 2015 will enjoy free admission to the park during the promotional period. Complimentary tickets can be redeemed at the Jurong Bird Park ticketing counters. Senior citizens are required to present original proof of identification.
Tram tickets can be purchased at the Jurong Bird Park ticketing counters or at the Main Tram Station.
Sign up for a special Feather Friends membership now and enjoy unlimited year-round entry to Jurong Bird Park – all for the price of a single day’s ticket!
Happy Holidays! This June, Jurong Bird Park gives parents, kids and grandparents something to crow about! Look forward to bonding activities, old-school fun, childhood games – and much more at the park:
