British Airways brought the finest in British design and culture to Singapore on Tuesday night as the airline hosted an exclusive event to celebrate the launch of its new Airbus A380 service on the Singapore to London route.
Held at the SkyPark on the roof of Marina Bay Sands, the event showcased the best of British design and craftsmanship which has been replicated on board the new A380 aircraft.
With the inaugural flight landing on the afternoon of the event, VIP guests were whisked direct from Changi Airport to the venue to start the celebrations.
The event featured renowned perfumery brand Jo Malone London, as well as a performance by Singapore’s first pop string quarter, VOX.
Guests who graced the event, included Antony Phillipson the British High Commissioner to Singapore, leading British physicist Professor Brian Cox and special guests from Singapore’s aviation, travel, business, entertainment and hospitality industry.
The launch was also marked with the help of Hollywood superstar Gwyneth Paltrow who had earlier jetted in to Singapore for a one-of-a-kind photo shoot in Marina Bay Sand’s world-famous infinity pool:

Customers in Singapore can take advantage of special celebratory fares to London on the new A380 with prices to London starting from just S$1,380 in World Traveller economy and from S$2,380 in World Traveller Plus premium economy.
The special return flights are valid for travel between October 29, 2014 and July 31, 2015. The sale ends on November 14, 2014.
