Last week, I brought Asher to watch the theatrical performance of The Gruffalo’s Child – one of Asher’s favourite children’s book.
The performance was one of the programs in KidsFest 2014, a series of world-class theatres for kids.
He was looking forward to the performance since I told him about it a week earlier. Just look at how happy and excited he was when we arrived at the Drama Centre where the performance was being played:

Ever set foot in the deep dark wood…

Tall Stories Theatre Company returns, bringing Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s award-winning sequel to life in this magical, musical adaptation.
Overall, we had fun watching the show, though Asher took a while to get used to the characters in human form.
