Nestle celebrates its 100 years in Singapore this year and they have a slew of exciting activities to thank Singaporeans for the amazing shared growing up journey for the past century.
Many of Nestle products are household names in Singapore – Milo, Maggi, Kit Kat, Milkmaid, Nescafe, just to name a few.
I can still vividly remember the thrill and exhilaration of seeing the Milo van near the finishing point during cross-country training at MacRitchie Reservoir in my secondary school days! A gulp of iced Milo after a long, strenuous run, that was heaven to many secondary school kids.
Cold Milo was hard to come by then. Now there’s Milo 3in1 Easy Cool!
As part of their 100 years celebration, Nestle will be fulfilling the wish of 100 persons in Singapore. You can submit your wish on their official website or read through some of the wishes they have fulfilled so far.
Here is the wish I submitted to Nestle:
“I like to travel and I have a habit of buying instant noodles from different countries back home as a souvenir and as a snack. It would be great if Nestle can send me all the different Maggi noodles sold around the world so I can try them all in this lifetime (better still, fly me to all the countries where Maggi noodles are sold to try them all). “
I was half-expecting all the wish to be for materialistic stuff like striking lottery, a new car and more of the same, but some are pretty heart-warming, selfless and interesting wishes.
Among the wishes fulfilled, here are some of my favourites:
Have you submitted your wish yet? If not, do so today! It takes less than a minute of your time and Nestle just may make your wish comes true. 🙂
When you are done with the wish, you can play a game with Nestle’s Ah Hock, the nostalgic telling parrot and find out his reading for your own journey with Nestle.
Here’s the reading for mine:
Accurate right?
Share your reading when you are done!
That’s so nice of them. All the wishes fulfilled so far are truly lovely.
those kites are beautiful 🙂
