Microsoft Singapore hosted a “family time” session with bloggers at the quaint Book Cafe, a few days before Christmas.
This is my first visit to Book Cafe. Tucked in a quiet area in Robertson Quay, the place is a nice place to chill out with friends.
The team from Microsoft Singapore was there to mingle with everyone and there was the usual free flow of food and drinks to go around, courtesy of Microsoft.
Over a casual dinner party, we were introduced to some of the development in Microsite products and were tasked to do a e-greeting card using Microsoft Powerpoint and a phone with Windows OS.

We tried to get #familytimeis to trend on Twitter. It reminded me that I need to back home early to spend time with my wife and baby boy; now that I am a newly minted father. Hence I left a little early than the rest of the bloggers. Nonetheless it was fun, Microsoft Singapore should do this more often and perhaps extend the invitation to our family members too. 🙂
