Rachel and I dined at Skinny Pizza at Raffles City Shopping Centre a few weeks ago. Since pizzas were obviously their signature dishes, we ordered two pizzas for our mains.
I had a Squid Ink Skinny Pizza ($23) while Rachel had a Braised Veal with Onion Marmalade Skinny Pizza ($25). We added Truffle Fries ($7) to share.
We love the crunch that comes with the fresh, piping hot, biscuit-thin pizza crusts. The pizzas were cut into slices in front of you by a server, giving off an enticing crunching sound as the blade of the pizza cutter rolls over the crust.
The toppings were a mixture of wholesome goodness, rich in greens; flavourful with different spices and sauces. Squid ink and marmalade do not seem to go with the word pizza, but both our orders tasted heavenly.
We are likely to visit again. Skinny Pizza is one of the rare restaurant establishments in Singapore where you can have a hearty meal, yet not feel guilty about it with it’s generous mix of greens and other healthier ingredient. 🙂
