This movie review is a bit late, but you have to go catch Inglourious Basterds! It’s by far, one of the best movies I have watched this year – witty, violent, sexy, clever, with a subtle dose of humour. If you enjoyed Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill, you are going to love this movie even more.
If world history can be rewritten, this movie is the way I would vote for to rewrite the Nazi chapter.

Christoph Waltz received the Best Actor Award at Cannes for his performance as Standartenführer Hans Landa aka “The Jew Hunter”. He definitely deserves his win for his riveting performance as the ultimate villain. Erratic and unpredictable at times while calm and composed the next moment, the Jew Hunter kept the audience at the edges of their seats each time he appears on screen.
Brad Pitt also gave a solid performance as a redneck Yankee soldier, 1st Lieutenant Aldo Raine, aka “Aldo the Apache”.
