Alvinology meets Mr Brown and James Seng

(From L to R: Alvin, James, Run Tien, Mr Brown) Photo taken from www.mypaper.sg

I recorded a talkshow vodcast yesterday with Singapore’s ‘blogfather’, Mr Brown; webmaster of Tomorrow.SG, James Seng; and Zaobao journalist, Run Tien.

I was the moderator for the discussion, and the motion was “Can Netizens talk cock on the Internet?”

Damn nervous lah… my first timing recording vodcast lor. Although I have done video production work before, I am usually the one BEHIND the camera, not the one ON CAMERA. Some more I was the most junior guy and was expected to ‘moderate’ the talk cock session by the expert talk cocksters!

It was a fun experience though, and I thought the three panelists were really candid with their responses.

Click HERE to watch the full vodcasts and read the full article on MyPaper.SG. Shun say too much ’cause it’s better for you guys to watch it yourselves. 🙂

Oh, and feel free to drop me a comment if you have any opinion to share on the topic.

Yours Sincerely,

Alvin Lim

  • Traditional medium is slow in catching up to the new media medium, blogging. We’ll always have that “bloggers versus mainstream journalism” debate. It’s never ending.

good first interview by yar, keep it up

  • Alvin: Pretty timely in re-visiting this issue, especially for the mypaper readers. I did a fairly similar video chat / discussion with two other bloggers on opposite camps of the issue which you can watch here: http://theory.isthereason.com/?p=1332

Any chance your vodcast could be posted on Youtube or Google Video so bloggers can embed and continue the discussion? It's help market your mypaper newspaper when we credit you guys as the source. :)

  • Hi Kevin, thanks for popping by my blog.

Let me check and get back to you soon.

Alternatively, if cannot then just screenlog and post onto youtube, haha. :)

    The watermark is there anyway.

  • Hello

Great book. I just want to say what a fantastic thing you are doing! Good luck!

    G'night
