  1. The whole secret is contentment. You can live anywhere in the world and have billions like Howard Hughs and Nina Wang….but you cannot be truly happy if you do not know how to find joy in simple things.

  2. You want cost to go down in a country with a strategic location in trade? Forget it la.

Singapore’s a pretty nice place liao. I’d say Moscow and St. Petersberg is much worse.

  3. Now I know why all my salary evaporates before the end of the month. It seriously feels like working for free in Singapore. No wonder there are a lot of people getting so stressed out and more become backstabbers in order to survive.

  4. The greatest failure of this government is the inability to control the ever- increasing cost of living especially medical cost. We have CASE who puts up a show every now and then. It is an impotent organisation with more bark than bite with a serious conflict of interest with the NTUC as its boss. How can it then be independent and perform a really Consumer watchdog function like in other countries.
