Fancy Marthur Farker by Marc Defang anyone?

Why not just spell it as it is?

Why not just spell it as it is?

Seriously, Marthur Farker is the name of fashion label by an American-Chinese designer called Marc Defang. This picture was taken at the window display of his Club Marc outlet at Central Mall in Clark Quay.

I am not going to be caught dead wearing such a label. It’s practically an invitation for people to punch you in the face when you wear a tee-shirt with the brand name printed in bold across your chest.

I wonder who would buy this. I am not narrow-minded, but I do find the name kind of silly. Then again, maybe the objective was just to create controversy and grab attention – if so, then it succeed.
