CHANGAN Q05 Electric SUV Makes Singapore Debut at The Car Expo 2026, Priced at S$174,999

CHANGAN has introduced the Q05, a new compact all electric SUV, in Singapore at The Car Expo 2026, held from 24 to 25 October. Positioned as the brand’s most accessible electric vehicle offering in the local market, the Cat A model combines a spacious five seat cabin, modern connectivity features and a claimed city driving range of up to 566km.

The launch expands CHANGAN’s electric SUV line up in Singapore, joining the existing S05 and S07 models. The Chinese state-owned automotive company, which traces its heritage back more than 160 years, describes the Q05 as China’s best-selling compact SUV, with more than 100,000 units sold.

Measuring 4,435mm long, 1,855mm wide and 1,600mm tall, the Q05 has a wheelbase of 2,735mm. Its five-seat interior offers 450 litres of boot space, with an additional 90 litres of underfloor storage for smaller items and everyday essentials.

Inside, the SUV features a 14.6-inch central touchscreen and a 10.17-inch digital instrument cluster. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, intelligent voice control and a 50W wireless smartphone charger are included to provide convenient access to navigation, entertainment and communication features.

Other cabin features include a panoramic glass roof with an electric sunshade, ventilated front seats and 256 colour ambient lighting. The combination is designed to provide additional comfort for daily commutes, family trips and longer journeys.

The CHANGAN Q05 is powered by a 51.9kWh lithium iron phosphate battery and uses front wheel drive. According to the manufacturer, it delivers a WLTP city range of up to 566km. Its DC fast charging capability of up to 90kW allows the battery to charge from 30 per cent to 80 per cent in approximately 25 minutes under suitable charging conditions.

Buyers can choose from five exterior colours: Moonlight White, Mercury Silver, Deep Space Black, Starlight Grey and Aurora Pink.

The Q05 is priced at an exclusive launch price of S$174,999 in Singapore. Visitors who missed its appearance at The Car Expo 2026 can view the vehicle and arrange test drives at the CHANGAN showroom at 281 Alexandra Road, Level 2.
