McDonald’s Singapore is turning up the heat with its revamped McCrispy Fried Chicken, featuring a crispier coating, juicier meat and a spicier flavour. Launching on 5 November 2026, the new recipe will be available in Spicy and Signature variants, alongside the debut of a new Coleslaw side.
The updated McCrispy Fried Chicken uses selected chicken thighs and drumsticks, marinated in a savoury blend of garlic, onion and spices before being coated in three layers for a golden, crispy finish. The new recipe promises a crunchier exterior and juicier interior, with the Spicy version offering a stronger kick. Customers who prefer milder flavours can opt for the Signature variant.
Joining the menu for the first time is Coleslaw, which offers a creamy and refreshing accompaniment to the fried chicken. The returning Crinkle Cut Fries will also be available, giving customers another side option to pair with their meal.
Ahead of the official launch, McDonald’s Singapore is hosting an exclusive preview event called Bite Club at its Aperia Mall outlet on 30 and 31 October 2026, from 9pm to 11pm. The event will give selected fans an opportunity to try the new McCrispy Fried Chicken Spicy before its nationwide debut.
MyMcDonald’s Rewards members can redeem 2,500 MyM Reward Points through the McDonald’s app from 28 October at 3pm for admission for two people, comprising the member and one guest. Members can choose to attend on either 30 or 31 October, subject to availability, with only 50 redemptions available each day.
Guests attending Bite Club can take part in a Punching Bag Challenge, visit an interactive photo booth and customise their own bottle with exclusive McCrispy Fried Chicken stickers at the Sprite Station. Each attendee will also receive a goodie bag containing specially designed merchandise.
The event forms part of the lead up to the new menu launch, with McDonald’s inviting fans to try the revamped recipe and share their verdict on the chicken.
From 5 November at 3pm, the all new McCrispy Fried Chicken in Spicy and Signature flavours, Coleslaw and Crinkle Cut Fries will be available at participating McDonald’s restaurants across Singapore. The items can also be ordered through McDonald’s Drive Thrus, McDelivery, GrabFood and foodpanda.
The food items will be served from 11am during non-breakfast hours and will be available for a limited time, while stocks last. Customers can follow @mcdsg on social media for further updates on the launch and Bite Club event.
