French skincare brand Biotherm has returned to Singapore’s retail market, introducing its latest Skin Fitness concept and a range of skincare products now available through Watsons Singapore.
Founded in 1952 by Jeanine Marissal, Biotherm is part of the L’Oréal Group and has a history in Singapore dating back many years before a brief exit. Its latest official launch in Singapore on 15 October 2026 marks a renewed retail presence, with its complete range now available online and in physical Watsons stores.

For its return, Biotherm is putting the spotlight on Skin Fitness, a philosophy that treats skincare as part of a broader wellness routine. Drawing parallels with exercise, training and nutrition, the brand aims to bring fitness inspired ingredients and advanced skincare formulations together.

These include ingredients such as electrolytes, vitamins, collagen, creatine, protein and taurine, which are commonly associated with sports nutrition and wellness. The approach is reflected in its latest hero product, the Biotherm Aquasource+ Electrolyte Dewy Gel.

The lightweight moisturiser is formulated with electrolytes and is marketed as providing up to 100 hours of hydration. According to Biotherm, it helps replenish moisture while leaving skin feeling fresh, smooth and supple.

The Aquasource+ Electrolyte Dewy Gel is said to take a different approach to traditional rich moisturising creams, focusing instead on a lightweight gel texture designed for everyday hydration. Its silicone free and alcohol free formulation is intended to absorb quickly without leaving a heavy or greasy residue.

This makes it worth considering for people who prefer lighter moisturisers, particularly in Singapore’s warm and humid climate. The product also contains glycerin, sodium hyaluronate and niacinamide, ingredients commonly used in skincare formulations to support hydration and improve the appearance of skin.

Biotherm’s product information cites a self-assessment involving 51 women after 28 days of use. According to the results, 90 per cent found the texture lightweight and pleasant, while all participants reported no oily or sticky feel. The brand also cites instrumental testing on 24 subjects to support its claim of up to 100 hours of hydration.
The gel is positioned as a daily moisturiser for morning and evening use, making it a potential option for those who want hydration without the feel of a heavier cream. Its electrolyte themed formulation also reflects Biotherm’s broader effort to connect skincare with fitness and wellness.
Other products available as part of the Singapore range include the Aquasource Hyalu Plump Gel, Lait Corporel Moisturizing Body Lotion, Aquasource+ Vitamin Glow Gel and Biotherm Homme Aquapower Advanced Gel.

Through its tagline, “You Work Out, We Work In”, Biotherm seeks to encourage consumers to give their skin the same attention they devote to physical fitness and overall wellbeing.

The complete Biotherm range, including the Aquasource+ Electrolyte Dewy Gel is available at Watsons Singapore, both online and in stores.
