Available across more than 23 Decathlon retail stores, the Decathlon app and its online store, Winter[proof] aims to make preparing for sub-zero temperatures easier for travellers who may be experiencing winter conditions for the first time. The campaign caters to adults and children, offering clothing and footwear for different cold weather conditions, alongside guidance on choosing the right gear.
One of the campaign’s main attractions is the return of Decathlon’s free Winter[proof] Capsules, immersive cold rooms maintained at minus 18°C. The spaces allow shoppers to test their winter clothing and equipment in simulated freezing conditions before travelling overseas. Each location will feature environments inspired by winter destinations, from Chamonix to Harbin.

For the first time, the Winter[proof] Capsules will also appear along Orchard Road, with pop ups at ION Orchard and Centrepoint Mall, alongside four Decathlon stores across Singapore.
The capsules will be available at Decathlon Kallang (SG Lab) from 21 October to 31 December 2026, Decathlon Joo Koon from 21 October 2026 to 7 January 2027, and Decathlon Bedok and Decathlon Northshore from 2 November to 31 December 2026. The Centrepoint Mall pop up will run from 26 October to 8 November, while the ION Orchard pop up will operate from 11 November to 29 November 2026.
Beyond the cold room experience, Decathlon is introducing its inaugural 1-on-1 Personal Shopper Experience, designed to help travellers select suitable winter clothing and equipment for their trips.
The complimentary service will initially be exclusive to Top Loyal Decathlon Members, who will receive a personalised link to book a session with a Decathlon Winter Expert. Members will be asked to share details about their travel itineraries, expected weather conditions and family requirements, allowing their assigned shopper to prepare a tailored product consultation.
Decathlon is also promoting its three-layer system as a practical guide to dressing for temperatures ranging from 5°C to below minus 28°C. The approach helps shoppers understand how different layers work together to provide warmth and protection in varying winter conditions.
The expanded winter collection includes new padded jacket designs and a wider range of children’s products. Developed by the Quechua and Simond design teams based near Mont Blanc in the French Alps, the range combines technical features with practical designs for family holidays.
Among the highlights is the DOUDOUNE Padded Jacket, priced at S$39.90, which offers lightweight warmth for temperatures down to minus 6°C. It features flexible fabric for ease of movement and is machine washable and quick drying.
The 3 in 1 Winter Jacket, priced at S$149.90, combines a waterproof outer shell with a reversible inner down layer. Designed to provide protection down to minus 9°C, it offers five different ways to wear the jacket for changing weather conditions.
For those planning ski holidays, the Ski Jacket costs S$99.90 and features waterproof and windproof protection, integrated wrist cuffs and a snow skirt to help keep snow out.
Children are also catered for with the Kids Padded Jacket, priced at S$29.90. It provides thermal protection down to 0°C and features a soft fleece lining and water-repellent fabric designed to protect against light rain and snow.
Footwear options include the minus 28°C DOUDOUNE Boots at S$69.90, which feature insulation for extreme cold, a waterproof membrane and SNOWCONTACT grip technology for traction. A wide opening and full lacing system are designed to make the boots easier to put on.
For younger travellers, the Kids DOUDOUNE Boots cost S$49.90 and provide warmth down to minus 13°C. They also feature a waterproof membrane, SNOWCONTACT grip technology and a wide opening to make independent wear easier for children.
