The 2026 edition continues the fair’s recent growth, with the number of participating galleries increasing from 81 in 2023 to 97 this year. Art sales have also risen from S$5 million in 2023 to S$5.3 million in 2024 and a record S$5.7 million in 2025.

Continuing with its “See Art, Love Art, Own Art” proposition, this year’s fair will feature thousands of contemporary artworks across painting, sculpture and photography. All works are priced below S$15,000, with 75% priced below S$7,500.

Asia remains at the centre of the 2026 line-up, accounting for more than 83% of participating galleries, compared with 75% in 2024 and 78% in 2025. Singapore and South Korea make up the two largest contingents, with 28 and 29 galleries respectively.

South Korean representation has grown from 21 galleries in 2025 to 29 this year, an increase of about 38%. The wider Korean Wave has helped draw international attention to the country’s creative industries across areas including music, cinema, television, food, fashion and literature, with visual art forming another part of this growing international interest.

Hong Kong and China will each be represented by six galleries, while Japan will have five. Outside the Asia Pacific region, the United Kingdom has the largest representation with seven galleries. The full line-up also includes galleries from Europe, North and South America, Australia and New Zealand.

The participating galleries will showcase a broad range of artists and practices. Singapore’s Art Forum, for example, will introduce husband and wife artists Kamalakannan and Eugenia Tan. Both began as collectors before developing their own artistic practices and work primarily in oil. Kamalakannan takes a conceptual approach to his work and considers music an integral part of his creative process, while Tan explores hidden stories and overlooked beauty in everyday life.

South Korea’s Frame Blue will present sculptor Woojin Kim, whose practice involves assembling thousands of vividly coloured stainless steel units into animal forms inspired by his childhood dream of becoming a zookeeper.

From Italy, Palma Arte will bring artist Alessandra Perini to the Singapore fair for the first time. A former fashion designer, Perini uses techniques associated with tailoring by cutting, stitching and layering textiles to create three-dimensional figurative portraits.

The 2026 edition also places emphasis on the personal connection between artists and their work at a time when the growing use of artificial intelligence and AI generated imagery has prompted wider discussions about human creativity and the value of original artworks.

Participating galleries submit details of the artists and artworks they plan to present months before the fair, including information about artistic practices, processes and materials. Each submission is considered individually as part of the selection process. The fair also requires works to meet its originality criteria, with editioned works limited to restricted runs.

Visitors will be able to explore artworks across different styles and media, speak directly with galleries and discover pieces suited to their personal tastes, homes and budgets. The fair aims to make collecting more accessible to a wider audience, including those looking to purchase their first artwork.

Further details about the participating galleries, artists and 2026 programme will be announced in the coming weeks.

Advance tickets are available until 22 November 2026 at S$24, with tickets priced at S$19 for students and seniors above 60. The advance ticket price is lower than the standard price of S$28. Tickets are available through the official Affordable Art Fair Singapore website.
