French acoustic engineering brand Devialet has introduced the Devialet Phantom Ultimate 98 dB in a new Pulse Blue finish, one year after unveiling the latest generation of its flagship speaker range.
Fronting the campaign is Devialet Global Brand Ambassador Isack Hadjar, Formula 1 driver for Oracle Red Bull Racing. The campaign draws a connection between Devialet’s pursuit of acoustic performance and Hadjar’s focus on precision and performance on the racetrack.
The Pulse Blue edition takes inspiration from the intensity of decisive moments and the heightened focus experienced in the cockpit before peak performance. Its deep RAL 5011 blue finish is complemented by redesigned side panels that transition from matte to gloss, with a mirror polished surface and clear varnish that creates a light responsive appearance. The Devialet logo has also been refined to match the updated design.
The new edition is accompanied by the Tree Phantom Ultimate 98 dB stand, finished to match the speaker.
Beyond its new appearance, the Phantom Ultimate 98 dB Pulse Blue retains the acoustic performance of the existing Phantom Ultimate range. The compact speaker delivers high fidelity reproduction across a frequency range of 18 Hz to 25 kHz, with sound levels reaching up to 98 dB SPL.
Its high-resolution signal processing supports audio files of up to 24 bit / 192 kHz, while Devialet’s Cospherical Architecture uses a dedicated full range driver to create a broad acoustic field with balanced and precise sound reproduction.
The speaker can be used on its own or configured in stereo and multi room setups. It supports AirPlay, Google Cast and Roon Ready, while stereo pairing separates the left and right channels to create a wider soundstage with greater depth, precision and dynamic range.
At the core of the Phantom Ultimate 98 dB Pulse Blue are several of Devialet’s proprietary technologies. ADH New Gen combines Class A analogue amplification with Class D digital amplification, while SAM adapts the audio signal to the speaker drivers in real time.
The speaker also features HBI, or Heart Bass Implosion, an acoustic architecture designed to deliver deep bass down to 18 Hz. AVL, or Adaptive Volume Level, dynamically adjusts equalisation according to the content to preserve details at different listening levels.
The Phantom Ultimate 98 dB Pulse Blue runs on Devialet’s DOS 3 software architecture, bringing the brand’s ecosystem together through a single interface. It supports a range of streaming services and protocols, including AirPlay, Google Cast, Roon Ready, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect and UPnP.
The Devialet app provides additional control over the listening experience, with audio modes for Music, Podcast, Cinema and Neutral. Users can also fine tune frequencies through a six-band equaliser, as well as adjust Bass Reducer and Loudness settings. Software updates can also be accessed directly through the app.
The Devialet Phantom Ultimate 98 dB Pulse Blue and its Tree stand are available in Singapore from 15 September 2026, the Devialet Grand Hyatt Flagship Store and Devialet Marina Bay Sands.
The Devialet Phantom Ultimate 98 dB Pulse Blue is priced at S$2,650, while the Tree stand is priced at S$400.
