Noah Yap’s Mad Hatter Wants His Madness Back in New Immersive Wonderland Mystery

Wonderland is in trouble, and this time audiences will have to solve the mystery themselves.

Sight Lines Entertainment is bringing its latest immersive detective experience, Crack The Case: Wonderland, to Goodman Arts Centre Blackbox from 9 October to 1 November 2026. The production stars Noah Yap as the Mad Hatter, whose un birthday tea party has gone horribly wrong after the mysterious disappearance of the “Madness” that gives Wonderland its magic.

Set during the Mad Hatter’s un birthday celebration, the experience begins with a party that is anything but festive. The tea is cold, the riddles have lost their spark and the inhabitants of Wonderland are behaving strangely. Somewhere along the way, someone has stolen the Madness, and audiences have 90 minutes to figure out who is responsible.

The cast includes Tan Rui Shan as the March Hare, Masturah Oli as the Queen of Hearts, Zulfiqar Izzudin as the Cheshire Cat and Victoria Lam as the Caterpillar.

Unlike a conventional theatre production, Crack The Case: Wonderland does not follow a fixed sequence. Audiences are free to explore Wonderland at their own pace, encounter scenes in different orders and choose whether to follow the main story or pursue a clue down another path.

As a result, two sessions featuring the same case, set and cast can unfold very differently depending on the choices made by the audience.

The experience is divided into two programming bands to cater to different audiences. Sessions at 10.30am and 2pm are designed for families and are open to guests aged six and above with an accompanying adult. The 4.45pm and 8pm sessions are intended for adults, offering a version of Wonderland aimed at audiences looking for a mystery combined with drama.

Each experience lasts 90 minutes and takes place indoors, rain or shine. Photography is permitted throughout the experience. While no strenuous activities are involved, guests should be prepared to remain on their feet for the full duration. Seating is reserved for VIP ticket holders and is not included with Standard tickets.

Families can also add a Wonderland Children’s Workshop to their visit. Priced at S$48, the one-hour workshop features drama games, craft activities and tea party etiquette. It is available for children aged six and above and takes place at 9am before the 10.30am show or at 12.30pm before the 2pm show.

The production is led by producer Derrick Chew, with scenic design by Russell Goh, sound by Bennett Bay and costumes by Tan Jia Hui.

Crack The Case: Wonderland is the latest production from Sight Lines Entertainment, which is marking its 15th year. Since 2012, the company has staged more than 30 productions and worked with 150 schools and more than 500,000 students.

Tickets are priced at S$88 for the Standard Experience and S$128 for the VIP Experience. A Group of 4 package offers a 10 per cent discount on Standard tickets, while opening week bookings of two or more tickets receive 20 per cent off Standard tickets.

The VIP Experience includes a private tour of Wonderland before the doors open, priority entry, a reserved seat at the Mad Hatter’s table, a set of clues, a separate secret quest and a private photo opportunity with the cast.

The minimum age for the experience is six, with adult accompaniment required. Every guest must have a ticket.

Crack The Case: Wonderland runs from 9 October to 1 November 2026 at Goodman Arts Centre Blackbox, Block M. Tickets go on sale on Wednesday, 3 September.
