adidas and the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team have unveiled the Vanda Bloom Collection, a new capsule inspired by Singapore’s national flower, the Vanda Miss Joaquim orchid, ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix.
The collection draws on the orchid’s distinctive pink and purple colours, while incorporating floral motifs that pay tribute to Singapore’s national flower and its symbolism of resilience and multicultural heritage. The designs aim to capture the energy of Singapore’s iconic night race while combining the visual identity of the city with the technical character of the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team.
The authentic driver’s jersey takes centre stage, featuring a blooming orchid graphic against a purple base with white tonal detailing across the team and sponsor logos. Signature teal accents appear across the shoulders, collar and cuffs, creating a contrast with the orchid inspired palette.
The Vanda Bloom Collection extends beyond the driver’s jersey to include caps, shorts, T-shirts, fanwear apparel and accessories. The designs bring together the bold colours associated with the Vanda Miss Joaquim with the team’s familiar teal detailing, creating a collection designed to stand out both at the paddock and among fans.
Performance also plays a key role in the collection, which has been developed with Singapore’s hot and humid climate in mind. adidas CLIMACOOL and CLIMAPROOF technologies feature across selected pieces, including the driver’s jersey and rain jacket, offering breathability and protection against rain during the physically demanding Singapore race weekend.
Footwear forms another part of the collection, led by the CLIMACOOL Laced Shoes. The shoes incorporate adidas 3D printing technology to enhance breathability and comfort, making them suited to tropical conditions. The footwear offering is complemented by the EVO SL and Handball Spezial.
The collection also includes lightweight shorts, trousers, caps and other accessories, extending the Vanda Bloom design language across a wider range of adidas and Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team merchandise.
