Taking place on 29 and 30 August 2026, the two-day event will transform a section of Singapore’s iconic shopping boulevard into a live race stage ahead of the Grand Prix Season Singapore (GPSS), supported by the Singapore Tourism Board.

The programme will feature a Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team Guided Garage Tour, a live race car demonstration, high-speed Hot Laps with BABYMONSTER and a Fan Festival bringing together motorsport, music and local culture.

On 29 August, a Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team Garage pop-up will be located outside the adidas Brand Centre Orchard. Inspired by the atmosphere of trackside garages and team hospitality areas, the installation will give members of the public an opportunity to see the engineering and preparation involved in a Formula 1 race weekend.

A limited number of fans will also be able to take part in a behind the scenes Guided Garage Tour, where they can meet Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team technicians responsible for preparing the car for its high-speed demonstration on Orchard Road.

The action continues on 30 August when Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team reserve driver Fred Vesti takes to the streets for a live race car demonstration. The approximately 600 metre–route will run from Paragon at 290 Orchard Road to TANGS at Tang Plaza at 310 Orchard Road.

The demonstration will mark Singapore’s first live Formula 1 race car demonstration in more than a decade, turning Orchard Road into a temporary street track. The spectacle is expected to attract spectators along the route, with the experience also reaching wider audiences through livestreaming, social media and media coverage.

BABYMONSTER will join the event as guests of the adidas and Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team collaboration. The group will participate in the official flag off ceremony before taking part in Hot Laps in a Mercedes-AMG car.

The car will feature a Singapore exclusive livery created for the event and will make its debut on Orchard Road. In-car cameras will capture the Hot Laps, with footage streamed for audiences and shared through social media.

The Live Race Car Demo and Hot Laps are free and open to the public, while selected fans will receive access to elevated VIP Viewing Decks. The event will require a road closure along Orchard Road.

The weekend will conclude with a Fan Festival on 30 August at the rooftop amphitheatre at Design Orchard. Invited guests will have exclusive access to the festival, including a BABYMONSTER fan engagement experience for selected fans.

Members of the public can also catch performances by Singapore artistes Benjamin Kheng and Iman Fandi, subject to venue capacity. DJ KIARA will then take over for a high energy set to close the evening.

Fans will also have opportunities to win access to adidas Orchard Ignition through promotions running from 14 to 25 August 2026. These promotions will take place across adidas stores, adidas website, the adidas App, selected retail partners and malls along Orchard Road.

Eligible shoppers can stand a chance to gain access to the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team Guided Garage Tour, watch the Live Race Car Demo and Hot Laps with BABYMONSTER from a VIP Viewing Deck, or attend the Fan Festival featuring the K-pop group.

From 27 August to 17 September, adidas Singapore shoppers can also receive an exclusive BABYMONSTER gift with selected purchases, while stocks last and subject to applicable terms and conditions.

adidas Singapore said the initiative is part of its participation in Grand Prix Season Singapore 2026 and is made possible with support from the Singapore Tourism Board, Singapore Land Authority, Orchard Road Business Association, Motor Sports Singapore and Singapore GP Pte Ltd.
