Dyson Expands Airwrap Co-anda2x Range with Four New Styling Attachments for Greater Precision and Versatility

Dyson has expanded its Airwrap Co-anda2x multi styler and dryer lineup with the introduction of four new attachments, giving users more ways to create salon quality hairstyles while maintaining the brand’s commitment to styling without heat damage. Powered by the Dyson Gen 2 motor and its increased air pressure, the latest additions are designed to deliver improved airflow, enhanced precision and greater styling control across all hair types.

The new lineup includes the Conical Co-anda2x curling barrel, Large Round Volumising Brush 2x, a longer 40mm Co-anda2x Curling Barrel and the all-new Air Straightener 2x. Each attachment has been engineered with upgraded airflow technology and improved ergonomics to help users create natural looking, long–lasting styles with greater ease and consistency.

Designed for those who want more defined curls, the Conical Co-anda2x Curling Barrel features a tapered shape that creates tighter curls at the roots while producing softer, looser curls towards the ends. The design also improves root access, allowing for smoother, more consistent curl patterns from root to tip while maintaining a soft, bouncy finish.

For users seeking a sleek blow dry look with added volume, the Large Round Volumising Brush 2x features a larger brush head and redesigned surface that increases airflow contact for faster styling and improved lift. Dyson says the updated bristle technology helps reduce frizz, minimise tangles and deliver smoother tension while shaping hair with less effort.

Long or thick hair users can benefit from the upgraded 40mm Co-anda2x Curling Barrel, which delivers 30 percent more power compared to the Airwrap i.d. multi styler and dryer. The improved aerodynamics allow the barrel to capture more hair in each section for faster wrapping and more consistent curls. The machine also automatically detects when hair is fully wrapped before activating the complete i.d. curl sequence for a more effortless styling experience.

Joining the range is the new Air Straightener 2x attachment, designed to straighten hair from wet to dry in as little as one pass. Using Dyson’s patented aerothermal plates and two high velocity air jets, the attachment smooths and aligns hair as it dries without exposing it to extreme temperatures. The adjustable clamp force also allows users to customise styling tension for greater control.

Like all Dyson hair tools, the new attachments are designed with hair health as a priority. Intelligent heat control monitors airflow temperature 1,000 times every second to ensure styling temperatures remain within safe limits, helping protect hair from heat damage while achieving professional looking results.

The Dyson Airwrap Co-anda2x multi-styler and dryer is available from 28 July in Singapore at S$899. The package includes the Air Straightener 2x, Conical Co-anda2x Curling Barrel, 40mm Co-anda2x Curling Barrel, Large Round Volumising Brush 2x, Fast Dryer 2x and Anti Snag Loop Brush 2x.

The four new attachments will also be sold separately later this year. The Conical Co-anda2x Curling Barrel, Large Round Volumising Brush 2x and 40mm Co-anda2x Curling Barrel will each retail for S$54, while the Air Straightener 2x attachment will be priced at S$67.
