Samsung Electronics has unveiled the new Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9, introducing its latest generation of smartwatches designed to deliver deeper health insights, enhanced performance and all-day comfort. Powered by AI driven health intelligence, the new wearable lineup transforms biometric data into personalised recommendations, helping users better understand and manage their health simply by wearing the devices throughout the day.

Leading the lineup is the Galaxy Watch Ultra2, Samsung’s most advanced smartwatch to date. Built for outdoor adventurers and performance focused users, it features specialised sports tracking for activities such as trail running and diving. Trail Run mode provides detailed elevation tracking, climbing progress and terrain analysis, while the new Nutrition Alert feature offers real time hydration guidance based on estimated sweat loss. The smartwatch is also certified for professional diving with IP69K, 10 ATM and EN13319 ratings, automatically tracking diving data such as depth, water temperature and dive time. Developed in collaboration with diving equipment brand Mares, additional advanced diving capabilities will be introduced through the Ultra2 Diving app later this year.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 also delivers significant hardware improvements. It features Samsung’s largest Galaxy Watch battery at 800mAh, offering a 35 percent increase over the previous Ultra model. Powered by the Snapdragon Wear Elite Platform, the smartwatch delivers faster performance, more accurate GPS tracking and a display capable of reaching 5,000 nits of brightness for improved visibility outdoors. Despite the larger battery, Samsung has reduced the watch’s thickness by 12 percent, pairing it with lighter, softer bands for greater comfort during extended wear. The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 will be available in a 47mm size in Titanium Silver and Titanium Gray.

Designed for everyday wellness, the Galaxy Watch9 focuses on continuous health monitoring in a lightweight and comfortable design. Available in 40mm and 44mm sizes, the smartwatch features a durable aluminium casing, interchangeable soft touch bands and a refined fit for all day wear. Powered by the Snapdragon Wear Elite Platform, it includes a 390mAh battery and a display with up to 3,000 nits of brightness, allowing users to easily monitor their health in various lighting conditions. Colour options include Graphite and Cream for the 40mm model, and Graphite and Silver for the 44mm version.
Both smartwatches introduce Samsung’s latest AI powered health features, built around its BioActive sensor and years of clinical research. New capabilities include Sleep Apnea detection backed by FDA clearance, Vitals monitoring, Heart Health Score, Daily Cardio Load, Fitness Index and Hearing protection alerts. Together, these tools provide users with personalised insights into sleep, cardiovascular health, recovery and overall wellness, while offering practical recommendations to support healthier daily habits.
Samsung is also offering a wide selection of interchangeable watch bands tailored to different lifestyles. The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 lineup includes Marine, Peakform and Trail Bands for outdoor adventures and sports, while the Galaxy Watch9 collection features Sports, Misty and Fabric Bands designed for comfort, fitness and everyday style.
To complement the new devices, Samsung Care+ provides extended protection with accidental damage coverage, repair services and expert support. Galaxy Watch owners can also conveniently manage their Samsung Care+ plan through the new Warranty and Care menu in One UI 9. Buyers will also receive complimentary subscription trials for Strava and iFIT, offering access to guided workouts, fitness tracking and training programmes.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9 are available for pre order in Singapore from 22 July 2026. Customers who pre order can enjoy 10 percent off either smartwatch when purchased together with an eligible Galaxy smartphone or Galaxy tablet, while stocks last. Both models will officially go on sale from 14 August 2026 through Samsung Experience Stores, the Samsung Online Store, Samsung Shop App, Singtel, StarHub, M1 and selected retailers including Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, KrisShop, iShopChangi and major consumer electronics stores.
