vivo Singapore has introduced the new vivo Y31s 5G, a feature packed smartphone that combines an upgraded display, improved cameras, enhanced durability and long-lasting battery life at an accessible price point. Designed for everyday users, the new device aims to deliver a premium 5G experience for work, entertainment and staying connected throughout the day.
The vivo Y31s 5G features a 90Hz High Brightness Full HD Dotch Display that delivers sharper visuals, smoother scrolling and improved viewing clarity for streaming, gaming and browsing. The brighter Full HD screen is designed to provide a comfortable viewing experience whether users are indoors or outdoors.
Photography also receives a significant upgrade with a new 32MP HD front camera, a notable improvement over the previous generation’s 8MP selfie camera. The higher resolution front camera is designed to capture clearer selfies, support high quality video calls and create more detailed social media content with natural looking beauty effects. On the rear, the smartphone is equipped with a 50MP HD main camera that delivers vibrant colours and detailed images for everyday photography. The device also supports underwater photography, allowing users to capture moments confidently even in wet conditions.
Powering the smartphone is a large 6,500mAh BlueVolt battery, providing reliable all day battery life for communication, entertainment and productivity. When it is time to recharge, 44W FlashCharge technology helps minimise downtime with faster charging speeds. The Y31s 5G also supports reverse charging, allowing it to supply power to compatible devices when needed.
To ensure long term reliability, vivo says the battery has been engineered with five-year battery health technology that helps maintain stable performance over years of regular use.
Under the hood, the smartphone runs on the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 Mobile Platform, built on an advanced 4nm process to improve both performance and power efficiency. Paired with up to 6GB Extended RAM, 256GB of internal storage and the latest OriginOS 6 operating system, the device offers responsive multitasking, quicker app launches and a smoother user experience. vivo also says the software and hardware optimisations contribute to a 50-month smooth experience for consistent long-term performance.
Entertainment is further enhanced with dual stereo speakers capable of delivering up to 400 percent volume, providing louder and richer sound for music, videos and games.
Despite its large battery, the vivo Y31s 5G maintains a slim profile, measuring just 8.39mm thick and weighing approximately 209g. The smartphone is built to withstand the demands of daily use with an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, protecting it against rain, splashes and other everyday conditions. It also carries SGS Five Star Drop Resistance certification to help reduce the risk of damage from accidental drops.
Available in Glowing Black and Midnight KL Purple, the vivo Y31s 5G brings together stylish design, dependable durability and balanced everyday performance, making it a practical companion for work, entertainment and daily activities.
The vivo Y31s 5G is now available in Singapore through the vivo Experience and Service Store at 313@somerset, as well as via Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop and authorised retailers. The 6GB RAM and 256GB storage model is priced at S$399.
To mark the launch, vivo is also running promotional offers across its flagship X300 Series throughout July. The vivo X300 is available at a promotional price of S$1,199, down from its usual retail price of S$1,299, while the vivo X300 FE is available at S$1,049, reduced from S$1,099.
Customers looking to upgrade can also take advantage of vivo’s in store trade in programme at the vivo Experience and Service Store. Eligible smartphones from selected brands can be assessed on site by trained staff, with the trade in value immediately applied towards the purchase of a new vivo smartphone, providing a convenient way to save on an upgrade.
