HOKA Unveils Skyward X 2 Super Trainer for Everyday Runs in Singapore

HOKA has officially introduced the Skyward X 2, the latest version of its premium high cushion super trainer, bringing updated performance features aimed at making daily runs feel smoother, lighter and more responsive. Following its recent arrival in stores, the new model builds on the original Skyward X by combining HOKA’s signature maximal cushioning with carbon plate technology for an energetic ride designed for everyday mileage.

The Skyward X 2 features several refinements focused on improving both comfort and performance. Its convex carbon fibre plate has been fine tuned to position runners in a more active stance, helping to create smoother transitions and greater forward momentum throughout each stride. HOKA has also reduced the shoe’s weight and optimised its stack height to deliver a more agile and streamlined running experience without compromising the plush underfoot feel that defines the Skyward X series.

The updated trainer also introduces a redesigned upper made from a luxurious one-piece creel jacquard mesh, offering a breathable and supportive fit with premium materials. Comfort is further enhanced with a zonal padded tongue construction and a dedicated tongue lace loop that helps keep the tongue securely in place during runs.

Underfoot, the Skyward X 2 continues to use a dual foam midsole setup, pairing a premium PEBA top layer for high energy return with a super critically foamed EVA bottom layer that delivers soft cushioning and effective shock absorption. The outsole combines high traction rubber at the forefoot with durable abrasion resistant rubber at the heel to provide grip and long-lasting durability across a variety of running surfaces.

Additional features include reflective details to improve visibility during early morning or evening runs, while the shoe is made using 100 percent vegan materials as part of HOKA’s sustainability efforts.

The HOKA Skyward X 2 is now available in Singapore at HOKA retail stores in ION Orchard and Raffles City, as well as selected authorised retail partners. It is priced at S$349.

The men’s colourway is available in Grout/Cobalt, while the women’s version comes in Lilac Cream/Tangerine Glow.
