Water World Ocean Park Hong Kong Unveils CANTON BEATS, Its Biggest Retro Cantopop DJ Water Party Yet

This summer, Water World Ocean Park Hong Kong is turning up the volume with the launch of CANTON BEATS, its largest retro Cantopop DJ water party to date. Debuting on 4 July 2026, the new evening event will serve as the headline attraction of Beat The Summer, the water park’s seasonal celebration running from 4 July to 31 August 2026.

Held on selected weekend evenings throughout July and August, CANTON BEATS will transform Manulife present: Horizon Cove into a vibrant waterfront party destination where music, lights and nostalgia come together. Guests can look forward to a rotating line up of popular DJs performing retro Cantopop remixes, classic hits and upbeat party tracks, accompanied by immersive lighting effects that bring a fresh after dark energy to the water park.

The opening weekends will feature an international roster of guest DJs from across Asia. South Korea’s DJ Sura, known for her energetic EDM performances, will kick off the series on 4 July, followed by Malaysia’s DJ Amber Na on 5 July. With more than 17 million followers online, Amber Na brings a strong fan following to the event. On 11 July, guests can catch DJ KIXON, a popular name in Mainland China recognised for his crowd engaging performances, while South Korea’s DJ SunB, a doctor by profession and DJ by passion, will take the stage on 12 July with his signature high energy set.

From beloved Cantopop classics to contemporary dance remixes, CANTON BEATS celebrates the sound and spirit of Hong Kong’s music culture against the scenic backdrop of the Southern District coastline. The combination of nostalgic Hong Kong inspired themes, international DJ talent and a seaside water park setting is expected to appeal to both local visitors and travellers seeking a unique summer experience.

The event is part of the broader Beat The Summer programme, which introduces a lively 1980s inspired Hong Kong atmosphere throughout Water World Ocean Park Hong Kong. During the day, visitors can enjoy the park’s indoor and outdoor attractions, including water slides, wave pools and leisure zones. As the sun sets, CANTON BEATS extends the excitement into the evening with music, lighting effects and a festive party atmosphere by the water.

For Singapore travellers planning a holiday in Hong Kong during the summer season, CANTON BEATS offers a fresh addition to the city’s entertainment landscape, combining water park thrills, retro Cantopop nostalgia and live DJ performances in a distinctive waterfront setting.

CANTON BEATS will run every Saturday and Sunday from 4 July to 30 August 2026, except 22 August, from 6.30pm to 9.30pm at Manulife present: Horizon Cove in Water World Ocean Park Hong Kong. Tickets are available from HK$272 through the official website, where visitors can also find the full DJ schedule and additional event details. Guests can also follow Water World Ocean Park Hong Kong’s social media channels for the latest updates throughout the season.
